Navan O’Mahonys Shane Gillespie’s goal after the restart helped them to a five point lead, but Donaghmore/Ashbourne fought back and took the lead in the 47th minute and a fine save from O'Mahonys' keeper Jack Walsh forced extra time.
However Jake Regan’s two points in extra time helped the hoops to shade it and now face Gaeil Colmcille in the final.

  1. Hard luck gaeil colmcille its good to see a north meath team get to the final never mind fielding a team. Two heavyweights played each other in semi final (O mahonys & Ashbourne).
