O'Rourke gifted Roscommon their second goal when his short kickout went straight to Sennen Kilbride who fired it home. He also pounced on a poor kickout to score another point.

Meath lost Jack Regan and midfielder Eoin Marsh to two yellow cards the break.

Armagh played with the wind in the second half as well to edge out Meath in the last quarter.

A goal in injury time gave Meath a 1-15 to 0-17 lead, but Armagh found the Meath net 30 seconds later. To make it Meath 1-15 Armagh  1-17 in the end
