All Ireland Club Championship 2011 goes into action this weekend in Leinster.
The Royal interest in this is twofold. Obviously Summerhill play St. Brigid's the Dublin Champions. Also the manager of St. Brigid's is none other than Meath own Gerrry McAntee who played for Meath back in the glory days of the eighties. Summerhill from Meath don’t have any county player. They won the Meath county final replay against Dunshaughlin on Sun Oct 16th on extra time after the first county final match on Sun 4th Oct ended in a draw. Summerhill who were favourites for both matches play St. Brigid’s on Sun 13 Nov. Interestingly Summerhill don’t have any regular county players on their team. A point that could be teased out on another day.
