Referee was assaulted in a match between Lamh Dhearg of Belfast and St Mary’s Rasharkin

Referee was assaulted in a the match between Lamh Dhearg of Belfast and St Mary’s Rasharkin
Rasharkin will now be allowed to play in adult league and championship competitions in Antrim in 2012."
Just wondering if members of the U21 team will be allowed to play adult football next year.
If they are NOT allowed will this include U21 subs and other U21 panel members.
If they ARE allowed play what would banning a team mean.
Would banning a team include banning its members from all GAA activity or does it mean just the actual U21 team itself.

All Ireland Club Leinster Final GARRYCASTLE 1-8 v ST BRIGIDS 0-10

All Ireland Club Leinster Final GARRYCASTLE 1-8  v ST BRIGIDS 0-10

Great match. Paddy  Exciting end to the game. Garrycastle really missed chances in the first half to kill the game off. But fair dues to St Brigids for making a comeback. But not enough in the end.

Very close game and reasonably sporting except for ONE all in. Not bad for a club match. Referee fairly well implemented the rules much to the suprise of the players. But I think they got the message eventually as there were no sending offs. I think that this was a bit of a suprise to them.
Also I don't see anyone question the GOAL. As far as I could see it was a square ball. ???
As regards the last free that was called "correctly". !!!
Where was the illegal tackle or where was the tackle.?
What did the St Brigids player do to cause a free.?
I can see the foot follow through and stumble but I can't see the illegal tackle.?
Anyway it was a great game Garycastle did very well and semed a well rounded team around Dessie.

Leinster Senior Football Championship 2012

Leinster Senior Football Championship 2012

Meath v Wicklow       Venue: Carlow
Banty’s 2nd year in the realm of Meath where they will meet the Garden county who will be managed by Rathnew man Harry Murphy in his 1st year in charge of the county. Royal supporters will have bad memories of the Carlow venue when Meath surprisingly lost to Wexford in Leinster SFC quarter finals in 2008. Can Murphy instil some of the typical tenacity that is normally seen with most Rathnew teams over the years or will Banty’s men proceed to the next round where they will meet Carlow if they win against Wicklow.
Dublin are on the other side of the draw and therefore Meath can only meet the Dubs in the Leinster championship unless they both make it to the final but Meath more than likely will have to play Kildare in the semi finals, if Meath can make it that far, who had a most impressive run in last year’s campaign where they beat Meath twice in the Leinster and All Ireland qualifier championships. That potential semi final would be the perfect opportunity to achieve revenge for last year’s defeats to Kildare and to setup an encounter against the defending All Ireland champions in the Leinster final.
Will Meath even beat Wicklow !!!
