Meath opened their NFL Div 3 campaign with a loss to monaghan at St Tiernach's Park, Clones today. Meath loosing by 12 points.
Monaghan were ahead by 0-7 to 1-2 at half time with Jamie Queeney scoring goal for Meath
Meath go to Aughrim next Sunday to play Wicklow who lost today to Fermanagh today.
