Galway 2-13 to Meath 1-12 at Pearse Stadium Sun 1 Feb 2015
Mickey Newman (free) opened the Meath scoring in the first minute.
A second Newman free on 24 mins was Meath’s second score. Galway led by 1-6 to
0-5 at the break. Meath's was not helped by the 48th minute black card to
Andrew Tormey. Newman’s goal effort blazing over the bar reduced Meath’s
chances of a comeback. But Jamie Queeney had a late consolation goal.
