J O’Donoghue pointed from a ‘45’ stretched the gap but the
Red Hands drew level in the second minute of added time at the end of the first
half. Kerry led by 0-8 to 0-7 at half-time, with a point coming from Kieran
Donaghy .
Harte tucked away a penalty on the hour after a foul on
substitute Barry Tierney
Tyrone were awarded a second-half penalty which Peter Harte
converted and referee Deegan did not
award a further spot-kick. Padraig McNulty was yellow carded for diving in the
second penalty incident. Mark Donnelly for Throne levelled it up three minutes
later. But Anthony Maher, Paul Geaney (2) and Barry John Keane scoring points
to win by four.
