Armagh go
through with a 0-18 to 0-13 victory over Meath at Croke Park. Meath were behind
0-8 to 0-7 at half time. At one stage in Meath were behind 0-8 to 0-2 with about 5
minutes before half time..
The sides
were level at 0-10 each within five minutes of the re-start
Three Meath
forwards scored from play while all six of the Armagh forwards scored.
Armagh's
Paul Grimley previously expressed concerns over the black card, hoping their
clash with Meath would not be "besmirched by any poor
decision-making". An upsurge in
gamesmanship !
