An Ulster Council statement said that that the GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee will "view the referee's report and any action will arise from the findings."

The Armagh County Board were informed of the decision by the CCCC after the investigation into the incident before the Ulster Championship first round win over Cavan at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh.
ReplyDelete3 players will receive a one game suspension, Brendan Donaghy, Kieran Toner and Andy Mallon. The CCCC have also imposed a €5000 fine.
The Armagh County Board will be appealing against the decision.

The GAA's Hearings Committee has upheld the one-match bans handed out to Armagh trio Andy Mallon, Brendan Donaghy and Kieran Toner.
ReplyDeleteThe three Armagh players appeared in front of the Hearings Committee Fri 20 June 2014 and reports that the charge against them was down-graded to "rough play" but the suspensions still stand.

All three had their second appeals rejected by the Central Appeals Committee
